Move Out Checklist

Provide your forwarding address to Covered Bridge Apartments. This can be done during the Final Walkthrough.
Schedule a Final Walkthrough; typically the walkthrough takes place on the last day of the month, but can be completed whenever the tenant is finished moving out and the unit has been cleaned. Text Erika at 802.578.2948 to schedule.
DO NOT leave any furniture or personal items in the unit upon move out. Items left for the landlord to remove will be hauled at tenant's expense.
All keys given during the term of your rental (including mailbox keys) must be returned or a lock change will be required and a fee charged.
Do not dispose of furniture, personal appliances, or toys in the dumpsters. If you need to have junk removed here are three local services:

Remove all nails, stickers, and tape from the walls. Fill holes left behind
Replace all burned out or missing light bulbs
Remove and properly dispose of unwanted items
To avoid a cleaning fee, leave the house neat and clean; clean the bathroom, kitchen (pay particular attention to stove top, oven spills, and refrigerator), mop the floors and vacuum carpets.

If there are any repairs necessary (appliances not functioning properly, something broken, etc.) please draw it to the attention of the Property Manager during the Final Walkthrough.
